Who Am I ???

The very title of the this blog challenges me to dig deeper and to discover and honor who I truly am. As primary author of this blog, I thought you might like to know a little more about me too. Oh sure, you can read my bio, but here's some things you won't see there.

There's Christine the actress and music theatre performer...

That's me in the white dress at the front playing the lead Ellie Greenwich in "Leader of the Pack" shortly after graduating from theatre school. I never realized until now how pretty I looked!
...Christine the bellydancer...

There I am in burgundy second from the left baring my belly!

...Christine the comedian...

Yes that's me on the right in the Zena outfit with the metal bra! In "Thunderbolts & Dunderheads" by Todd McGinnis
I even tried stand-up comedy for about a year. My claim to fame is that I was in the same show as Russell Peters once! OK it was an amateur night and Russell was the headliner but still......

...there's Christine the singer/songwriter and band member of acoustic band "Random Roads"...

Click to listen to me perform my original songs "Living Free" or "Goddess of Anytown". My what a journey that led me to the creation of these songs! I was a bit nervous performing these live for the first time. I have a tendency to bear my soul in my lyrics.

...then there's Christine the visual artist...

"Inner Light" Sold to a private collector for her healing room.

"Crossroads" Fine Art Fiber Wallhanging $185

...obsessed jewelry designer....
"Angel Wing Pendant" - Sleek Chic Collection $75
...bookbinder and crafter...

...I am a friend...
Crammed in an elevator with me on the far right.
...a wife, step-mom, sister, cousin and auntie...

...and a 39 year old grandma!...

Ayden born July 9, 2010

These are just some of the facets of who I am.

I've been skinny and I've been fat plus everything in between. I love a good laugh and spreading laughter whenever and wherever I can. I am NOT a corporate or political entity. I don't hold my cards close to my chest and I have a bad habit of calling out people who pee on my leg and tell me it's raining! I appreciate when people speak using a creative vocabulary (even if it's a long line of cuss words strung together in a unique and creative way). I wear my heart on my sleeve.  I'm crazy about animals. I love openly even if love is not returned. I'm a wannabe neat-nick trapped in a slob. I strive to improve daily. I hate the news because I don't like seeing the bad guys get all the attention. I don't have time for people who treat me poorly and when I'm wrong I apologize. I have a tendency to streak my hair with wild colors. I expect honesty from myself and from others. I'm not perfect, not even close, but I do my best and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Wishing you the best that life can bring!

Creatively yours,
Christine
