There's Christine the actress and music theatre performer...
That's me in the white dress at the front playing the lead Ellie Greenwich in "Leader of the Pack" shortly after graduating from theatre school. I never realized until now how pretty I looked! |
There I am in burgundy second from the left baring my belly! |
...Christine the comedian...
Yes that's me on the right in the Zena outfit with the metal bra! In "Thunderbolts & Dunderheads" by Todd McGinnis |
...there's Christine the singer/songwriter and band member of acoustic band "Random Roads"...
Click to listen to me perform my original songs "Living Free" or "Goddess of Anytown". My what a journey that led me to the creation of these songs! I was a bit nervous performing these live for the first time. I have a tendency to bear my soul in my lyrics.
...then there's Christine the visual artist...
"Crossroads" Fine Art Fiber Wallhanging $185 |
...obsessed jewelry designer....
"Angel Wing Pendant" - Sleek Chic Collection $75 |
...bookbinder and crafter...
...I am a friend...
...a wife, step-mom, sister, cousin and auntie...
...and a 39 year old grandma!...

These are just some of the facets of who I am.
I've been skinny and I've been fat plus everything in between. I love a good laugh and spreading laughter whenever and wherever I can. I am NOT a corporate or political entity. I don't hold my cards close to my chest and I have a bad habit of calling out people who pee on my leg and tell me it's raining! I appreciate when people speak using a creative vocabulary (even if it's a long line of cuss words strung together in a unique and creative way). I wear my heart on my sleeve. I'm crazy about animals. I love openly even if love is not returned. I'm a wannabe neat-nick trapped in a slob. I strive to improve daily. I hate the news because I don't like seeing the bad guys get all the attention. I don't have time for people who treat me poorly and when I'm wrong I apologize. I have a tendency to streak my hair with wild colors. I expect honesty from myself and from others. I'm not perfect, not even close, but I do my best and I wouldn't have it any other way!
Wishing you the best that life can bring!
Creatively yours,
Christine
You're a busy woman! Loving all of the creativity.
ReplyDeleteThanks Paige! Creatively speaking I'm now primarily focussed on my artwork/Etsy shop, blogging and singing. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post, love that you have so many different facets to you. I'd love to try bookbinding one of these days.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Love the blog and I love how you showed the different roles you've played. Let me know if I can help you with any more promotions or anything of the like.

ReplyDeleteWOW that is a lot! I went to theater school and with my acting experience have persued a career in software engineering.... it is so great to see that you have stayed with your artistic passion and seem to be having a blast too.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a busy, multi-talented lady you are! And a 39-year old grandma?! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great comments! J.Crabbit, I can't tell you how many engineers I know who have creative outlets either in performing or visual arts. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your shop! The attention to detail is remarkable. I can see the performing artist coming alive in your pieces.
