Born 2b Me is all about living an authentic life. It's about living our own life and not someone else's. I'm an artist specializing in fiber art, jewelry design and book arts. For over 20 years I also worked as a singer /actress. Throughout my creative life I struggled with the kind of dual life that so many artists face. I was an office employee during the day and super artist by night.
After 3 major burnouts before the age of 39 and stress taking over my health I finally took the plunge. In May of 2010 I literally dumped a high paying, stable but extremely toxic day job and started out on my own with little more than a hope and a prayer. I may be broke, but I think for the first time ever I truly LOVE my life!
This blog isn't just about me, I'll be introducing you to some of the most inspiring artists around the globe. I'll share tips and exercises to help you enjoy your own creativity too (even if you're not yet conviced you're creative). There'll be exciting giveaways, contests, DIY projects and more. This is your blog too, and I can't wait to share it with you.
Until next time,
Christine
